Book Review Format

Every marking period you will be responsible for reading a certain amount of books. In Marking period 1 you are responsible for reading 3 books. After you are finished with each book, you must write a book review. Below you will find the format for a book review.

What should be in it?

Book reviews should include:

• The title (underlined)
• The author
• What the book is about
• Your opinion of the book
• Did you like the book?Why or why not?
• Would you recommend it to your classmates to read?Why or why not?
• Rate the book from a scale of 1-51=Bad book5=Great book

Technicalities

• Write your review in paragraph format
• Spelling and grammar counts
• Should be neatly hand written or typed
• Answer each question found above
• Number each book review
